2nd Partners Meeting of the International Panel on Water Structure (IPWS) – session Brazil
The 2nd Partners Meeting of the International Panel on Water Structure (IPWS) took place on the 30th of June, session Brazil, with the participation of university professors, civil society organizations and people interested in general. The meeting, which took place virtually, aimed to inform and contextualize the participants and signatories of the IPWS Protocol of Intent on the latest developments, as well as to present the IPWS Forum proposal, presented by Sergio Ribeiro, general director of the International Water Center and Transdisciplinarity (CIRAT), the body responsible for the executive secretariat of the IPWS (2019-2021)
We also had the distinguished participation of Dr. Beverly Rubik, president of the Institute for Frontier Science (California-USA), which studies the relationship between water and human health. Her 30-minute lecture, with simultaneous translation, was focused on the benefits of ionized water for human health compared to treated and bottled water. In the words of Rubik: “I conclude with this hypothesis, that water can have numerous nanostructures and energetic states and that some waters support life better than others, such as, for example, water from the ionizer”. Professor João José from the agronomy department at the University of Brasília and the structured water coordinator from CIRAT, Giovane Alves, members of IPWS Working Group 02, also presented their research on the relationship between structured water and agriculture.
Finally, the IPWS Forum Project was presented, which focuses on the realization of the “1st International Meeting of Researchers of the IPWS”, associated with an international call for scientific articles on the theme of water structure that will take place at the next World Water Forum, in March 2021, in Dakar, Senegal. To carry out these activities, a working group of IPWS members was formed to structure and carry out the project.
